Named in honor of my mother, Brenda Baldacci, who embodies wisdom, beauty, and grace, this wine captures my attention with each vintage. Every vineyard block has a unique personality, and throughout the growing season, I focus on the blocks that show the most concentrated and consistent fruit profile. During fermentation, I watch for deep, dark color and evolving complexity. The wine is then aged in hand-selected French oak barrels with a medium to heavy toast that complements the rich fruit. The tannins from the fruit intertwine with the oak tannins to create a texture that is both seductive and captivating. This is a wine to be savored and set aside for life’s most significant moments. It is both a celebration and an homage in a bottle.
