The People Behind the Wine
Thomas & Brenda Baldacci purchased the Stags Leap District property in 1998, transforming a family retreat into one of Napa Valley's most respected estate vineyards. Their commitment to organic farming and family-first winemaking defines everything we do.
Michael Baldacci is a second-generation winemaker and owner — one of the few in Napa Valley where the winemaker is also the proprietor. A 2025 Forty Under 40 winner, Michael oversees every aspect of winemaking from vineyard to barrel to bottle.
The team is completed by General Manager Kellie Duckhorn, Assistant Winemaker Hugo Garcia, and vineyard manager Miguel Perez — each bringing decades of Napa Valley experience to the estate.
